9 Days Trekking Marrakech – Chegaga Desert – M’Hamid
Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops to admire panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and Berber villages. Continue through Ouarzazate and the scenic Draa Valley, a region dotted with palm groves and historic kasbahs. Arrive in Zagora in the evening, where you will rest and prepare for the trekking portion of your Sahara adventure.

Day 2: Zagora – Faija

Day 4: Oued Lemhasser – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, trek toward the famous Erg Chegaga dunes, one of Morocco’s largest and most untouched desert areas. Cross rolling sand dunes and dry desert plains, passing small oases and remote desert tracks. Arrive at the heart of Chegaga in the afternoon and witness the magical sunset over golden dunes. Spend the night in an authentic bivouac camp.

Day 5: Erg Chegaga Exploration

Day 8: Oued Naam – M’Hamid – Return to Zagora
After breakfast, trek or ride camels to M’Hamid, the last stop before returning to Zagora. Explore the area briefly, then start your return journey via 4×4 to Zagora. Enjoy the scenic drive through the desert, passing small villages, oases, and sand plains. Arrive in Zagora in the evening for a well-deserved rest.
